The module is accessed as memory mapped or PIO I/O device through a 16 KB non volatile dual-port F-RAM bus interface. All 82C55A outputs connect to a generic I/O extension board connector (ESISA C) i.e., virtually any I/O application can be implemented on a separate board stacked on top of the PIM-1.
Connected to the ESISA bus, the PIM-8255 is directly programmable via the stack master SBC or, as stand-alone solution, through its EIA/ TIA-232 serial access port.
The PIM-8255 is available in 2012. New product information is published on this site immediately when it gets available for release, please return regularly for reviewing or contact us for further information.
