The 2 MB F-RAM SODIMM features 2 MBytes of ferroelectric RAM (F-RAM) oganized in two banks of 1 MByte and enhances embedded systems with high reliable, non volatile memory accessible through a 16-bit wide parallel data bus.

The module offers separate bank selects and can be accessed as one 2 MByte or two 1 MByte devices. Considerations regarding system integration apply as for any standard F-RAM device.

Designed for 5V environments, the module includes smart signal voltage level conversion from a 5V system bus to its 3.3V memory array through zero propagation delay circuitry. The module requires a single 5V power supply, only, and plugs into any 144-pin standard SODIMM socket.
