The 2 MB SAM SODIMM features 2 MBytes of asynchronous static RAM (SRAM) oganized in two banks of 1 MByte and enhances embedded systems with high speed memory accessible through a 16-bit wide parallel data bus.

The module offers separate bank selects and can be accessed as one 2 MByte or two 1 MByte devices. Considerations regarding system integration apply as for any standard SRAM device.

The module is designed for 5V environments and includes board level zero propagation delay bus buffer circuitry. It plugs into any 144-pin standard SODIMM socket.
